IPSE GO Version 1.11

What is new in IPSE GO Version 1.11

We are gearing up to launch IPSE GO Version 1.11, and it is packed with enhancements designed to improve usability, collaboration, and documentation. From expanded chart configuration options to smoother copy-paste handling and smarter user permissions, this release continues to strengthen IPSE GO as a powerful, cloud-native process simulation platform.

Outline

  • Chart Settings
  • Group Management
  • Project Ownership Transfer
  • Issue Messages include links to flowsheet objects
  • New and reworked application manual
  • Copy and paste is now better supported across different applications
  • Support correct handling of Free Equations on Copy & Paste

Chart Settings

Customise charts with greater precision. Version 1.11 introduces enhanced chart configuration options, providing users with greater control over titles, formatting, and display properties.

Chart Settings
Editing chart settings gives the user fine grained control over charts containing simulation results in IPSE GO.

It is now possible to change legend titles, axis settings or individual data points in a series. If preferred, it is also possible to manually create entire charts by hand. With maximum control over your charts, this allows for clearer visual communication of your simulation results.

Project Ownership Transfer

In Version 1.11, it is now possible to transfer a project entirely to a new owner. When transferring a project, all its data remains intact, such as links and group shares (for groups that the new owner is part of). This greatly improves project handling in cases when working with embedded projects or the project version history shall also be transferred to the new owner.

Group Management

Collaboration on the IPSE GO platform gets improved with powerful new group management features. The new version allows members of a group to be divided into roles such as "Administrator" and "Member".

Administrators can help the owner of a group manage group information and invite or remove new members. Additionally, administrators of a group can unshare projects that are no longer required.

Reworked Application Manual

We have overhauled the application manual to provide clearer guidance, up-to-date visuals, and a more intuitive structure. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, the new documentation will help you get the most out of IPSE GO.

Issue Messages with Object Links

Issue messages in v1.11 now include clickable links to the corresponding flowsheet objects, helping you locate and resolve problems faster. This enhancement improves debugging and model validation workflows.

Improved Copy & Paste Support

You can now copy and paste content more reliably across applications, with better handling of symbols, structures, and multilingual data.

  • Free Equations are now correctly preserved when copied and pasted.
  • Non-Latin characters are handled accurately, reducing formatting issues.

Corrections

  • Improved dialogues and form field appearances.
  • Provide better-suited confirmation messages on irreversible actions.
  • Read-only and error banners are now correctly positioned above the flowsheet.
  • Restrict the deletion of a project version to the owner of the project and to the user who created the version change.
  • Empty chart titles are now correctly displayed in the chart manager.

Bug Fixes

  • Resizing windows from the left or top side now does not change the position of the window anymore.
  • Fixed issues with the Copy & Paste of project content that contained non-Latin characters.
  • Fixed an issue that caused projects to be downloaded in the editor to contain the wrong version number.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented smooth dragging of documentation windows.
