See what’s new in Version 1.7 of IPSE GO – Integrated Process Simulation Environment in the cloud. This release has a strong focus on usability and improved simulation use cases. Create and share flowsheet images directly via the new Image Export feature, use the restyled information boxes to move around crucial object information and use the Validation Module for data reconciliation and validation tasks.
New Features in Version 1.7
• Add support for project validation as a new simulation type
• Allow moving of information boxes anywhere on the flowsheet
• Export flowsheet images as PNG
• Referencing object highlighting
• Addition of a news section to the dashboard
Bugs fixed in Version 1.7
• Fixed some issues that occurred when filtering for formula functions
• Fixed issues with some older projects containing charts that could not be loaded
• Fixed an issue occurring when pasting data frames from projects with multiple datasets
• Fixed issues with invalid dataset names and ID
Support for Project Validation and Reconciliation Simulations
With IPSE GO 1.7, we enabled support for the validation module that has been part of the IPSEpro software for many years. A validation module can be added to your projects to adjust measured data with non-linear least squares. Data reconciliation is often applied in plant acceptance tests and process monitoring.
This method ensures that sensor inaccuracies are corrected, providing a more accurate representation of the process, and leading to improved decision-making and enhanced operational efficiency.

Highlight and Show Global Referencing Objects
We have introduced the ability to highlight all objects that reference a Global object, simplifying the management of complex flowsheets. Users can instantly focus on all units and connections that reference it by selecting or hovering the global object in the Object Manager. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for model libraries, such as the FGC_Lib or the PGP_Lib, that rely on numerous global references, making identifying and managing related components easier. This improvement streamlines navigation and ensures more efficient project oversight.
Placing Information Boxes on the Flowsheet
Information boxes (short Info-Boxes) play a crucial role when working on a project model by displaying analysis results and guiding users through resolving under- or over-specifications.
Users now have the flexibility to move Info-Boxes on the flowsheet to improve readability and organization. These changes are automatically saved and retained when projects are opened or saved, ensuring that your workspace remains as you left it, improving efficiency and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
Export the Flowsheet as a PNG Image
We are happy to introduce a robust image-exporting feature designed to enhance the visualization of flowsheet objects. Users now can export either the entire page or specific object selections of the flowsheet in PNG file format. This offers a significant advantage over screenshot methods, as it allows users to manually define image dimensions, resulting in higher-quality visuals tailored to their specific needs.
This feature proves invaluable for various use cases, such as disseminating detailed project information, supporting academic research, or facilitating professional communication with clients and stakeholders. By providing clean, customizable images, IPSE GO ensures that your visual data is presented clearly and effectively, no matter the context.
News Section on the IPSE GO Dashboard
We have introduced a brand-new News section right on the dashboard! Now, staying up-to-date with the latest product updates, features, and industry trends is easier than ever. The News section will provide real-time insights and relevant information directly within the platform, ensuring you’re always informed about what’s happening in the world of IPSE GO.
